Mission Statement:

We strive to provide a sequential, developmental approach that emphasizes learning, performing, and developing an appreciation for all aspects of music and music making.  It is our hope that a positive early experience in music will create a lifelong appreciation and participation in the Arts.

General Music classes:

Music classes are offered to all Enterprise students.  We have a variety of instruments available which helps to create a true hands-on learning environment. Instrumental units include world drumming, xylophone, ukulele, violin, recorder, piano keyboarding.  Students love to read, write and create music on our Apple laptops.

Chorus:

Chorus is a performing group of 75 select members from 4th, 5th and 6th grades. Chorus rehearses twice a week. Chorus further gives our students the ability to explore their own voices within an ensemble, gain skills in part singing, choreography and experience in public performing.  Choral instruction in Brevard County begins at the elementary level and continues through junior/middle and senior high school. Individual private study and further extra-curricular performances are encouraged through participation in the Elementary Music Festival and the Brevard Children’s Chorus.

Our string consultant, Linda Woodrich, also works with the Space Coast High program and the Brevard Youth Symphony. Instruction in string instruments in Brevard County begins at the elementary level and continues through junior/middle and senior high school. Individual private study and further extra-curricular performances are encouraged through participation in the Elementary Music Festival and the Brevard Symphony Youth Orchestra.
