Visiting the School

All visits to the school must be arranged through the front office. Parents may visit the school at any time. They must first contact the front office to sign in and pick up a visitor's pass. This is done for the protection of the children, the parents, and the School District. We need your cooperation in this matter.
Lunch

Hot lunches are available for students every day school is in session. Students may choose to buy lunch or bring a bag lunch.

Breakfast

Enterprise offers a breakfast program from 7:15-7:45 a.m., Monday through Friday. All students may participate. Breakfast is free for all students.

All students who participate in the breakfast program must eat in the cafeteria.  Breakfast will end promptly at 7:45.

PHYSICAL EDUCATION WAIVERS

Students in grades K-6 are eligible to waive the physical education requirement if they meet any of the following criteria:

The student is enrolled or required to enroll in a remedial course.

The student's parent indicates in writing to the school that:

1. The parent requests that the student enroll in another course from among those courses offered as options by the school district; or

2. The student is participating in physical activities outside the school day which are equal to or in excess of the mandated requirement.

Pre-Pay

Prepayments may be made by cash or check, sent in on Monday morning, preferably in a sealed envelope with the child's name and teacher as well as parent name and phone number.

Free and Reduced Lunch

Application for free and reduced lunches are available in the school office. One form for each child is required. Parents applying for free or reduced lunches will be notified within 10 days on the status of their application.

Menus for the month are sent home with the newsletter and are posted on the Brevard County web page.

Lunch Visitors

It is wonderful to see so many parents enjoying lunch at school with their children. Due to the fact that classes are taking place in the rooms off the commons area, we ask that you abide by the following guidelines: sit only at the picnic tables and have children remain seated during the entire time. Please enjoy lunch with your child only.

Rainy Day Plan

Florida's hot afternoons usually mean thunder storms.  While thunder storms can be frightening, children often find the uncertainty of how they will get home even more worrisome.  To alleviate this anxiety, please have a plan for how your children will get home on rainy days.  Make sure your child is aware of the plan and is confident in what to do on those rainy days.

Early Dismissal

A request to have a child excused from classes early should be sent with the child in the morning. The time and reason should be included. Please schedule medical and dental appointments to miss as little school time as possible. Students are not allowed to leave the school grounds after they arrive unless they are checked/signed out through the front office by a parent or guardian. If someone else is to pick up your child, we must have your written permission. A child will not be released without the code word you have given to us.

Car Tags

Parents and caregivers picking students up at the car loop during dismissal are asked to pick up a colored car tag from their child's teacher or the office. These tags with the student's name on them assist the staff for more efficient car dismissal.

                    Lost and Found

All belongings brought to school should be marked, in permanent ink, with the owner's name.  Our lost and found is located on the stage.

Dress Code

Students should be clean, neat and properly dressed. They should observe dress and standards of personal grooming that conform with the academic atmosphere.
