The morning program includes use of a large assortment of games and
manipulatives, along with use of our separate S.A.C.C. computer and video game lab.
Breakfast is available at no charge through the cafeteria on all days that class is in session. THE CAFETERIA IS NOT OPEN ON INSERVICE DAYS OR HOLIDAYS.
The afternoon program includes a daily snack. Children are given an opportunity to work on homework each day. In addition the afternoon program may include outside play time, arts & crafts projects, both computer game time and computer instruction, Karaoke, movies, games & puzzles, and free choice time. The upper grade levels also have the opportunity to learn the basics of digital photography and video editing using Adobe Photoshop Elements and Adobe Premier Elements.
Holiday and Summer programs include all teacher Inservice Days, Spring Break and all summer days with the exception of Memorial Day Independence Day. The summer program includes a full schedule of field trips. Past field trips have included bowling, movies at Cobb Theaters, and trips to the Kennedy Space Center, the B.C.C. Planetarium, Jungle Adventures, Fort Christmas, Sea World, Disney Quest, Orlando Science Center, Universal Islands of Adventure, and the Orlando Pirate Adventure Dinner Theater.
